The Intrepid

Hey everyone  long time no see. I took a long long break from blogging. Today is a special post about the cool battle ship " The Intrepid". Why I'm doing this? Its because I recently went there and  talking about what the Intrepid did for us and the place in the ship. Basically the Intrepid is a fighter plane that fought in World War 2. The Intrepid is huge. It is 912 feet by 192 feet. Amazing isn't  it. Also the Intrepid was launched in 1943, April 26.  So the history of the USS Intrepid(full name) is the fourth navy ship ever launched. It was used to fight in World War II. The Intrepid suffered so much during her war.She undergo many repair after being struck by a torpedo.This ship also help us. Due to its massive endurance  it could withstand a powerful blow. Not only helped us in war also became part of the US Atlantic Fleet. Also became the head quarters of the FBI after the 9/11 attacks. In 1986 it was declared to be a historic landmark. After that it was docked in New York on Pier 86. Below is the picture of the Intrepid in battle.

Next I'll talk about one deck in the Intrepid. I'll talk about the hanger deck. The Berthing deck is a place in the Intrepid where the soldiers would take rest and hangout.Three soldiers would have to share one locker. The beds would be so uncomfortable because it was made out of material that would be to itchy. Since there were no air condition the nights would be very hot for the soldiers. The purpose of the Berthing deck is to relax the soldier to hangout.

During my trip I experienced how the Intrepid fought in battle. I saw they used planes on the ship to ride and attack the foe. This is important because to learn about this will give people an interest. Also where and how they use the decks.

• Went to San Francisco to prepare for post war
• Eniwitok. Arrived there to continue to fight and make a move
• Mindanaeo  to strike the air fields
• Nuzon to attack the Japanese

So my trip was awesome. The Intrepid did many things for us. This is how tough it is. 

The Gravestone Mod

   Hey everyone. Today is the gravestone mod. This mod basically adds gravestones to your game. This is actually a cool mod. You might think that it only adds gravestones to your game, but you can get loot when you survive in the harsh conditions in the cemetery. The cemeteries are located in the village where the villagers are. What I mean by loot is you can get awesome items at different graves. There is a warrior grave which contains armor,swords, and pickaxes.Miner graves contain minerals such as gold ,diamond, emerald, iron,red stone, and Lauritz. Basically the addition to the game is graves, graveyards, new type of block, wither spawner, and time blocks, and Withers catacomb. Here is a graveyard below.

    Another cool thing is that when you die a grave will spawn and you can read information about your death. Time blocks are blocks that are very weird. Once you step one the block it will change the time of the day to sunset which will allow monsters to rise. Only zombies and skeletons will rise at night. If you survive you get rewards in the grave. I forgot that there is a wizard grave that is filled with potions, enchantment book and potion ingredients. Last thing I'll touch on is the Withers catacomb.  To find these catacombs, you need to go to the cemeteries and you'll find the entrance. Just a warning if you downloaded this mod and go into the catacombs, be careful about traps. Also these underground place go so deep into the ground. There are enemies and treasures too. At the end of the catacomb you'll see Wither  guarding the nether portal. Here is a video for more information.

The Dungeon Pack Mod

   Hey everyone. Today I'm talking about the Dungeon Pack Mod. This mod adds more places to mine craft. There are dungeons located everywhere. For example one dungeon in this mod is a pyramid. These dungeons can be great homes for you. Each dungeon always has a spawner and a chest. With this mod you can enable cheat mode and disable dungeons. Since you can go onto cheat mode  you can put anything you want in that chest. Diamonds, emerald anything you want. Can be enchanted armor. Here is a dungeon example below.                                              

    As you can see this is what the pyramid looks like,pretty neat, Am I Right? But the only good part about this mod is the structures, not really anything added. But look on the bright side, you can have a pirate ship and a fort to live in. Here is a video about the Dungeon  Pack Mod.

The Atum Mod
       Hey everyone. Today is the atum mod. This is a fairly interesting mod. You travel to another dimension and there are different types of mobs. There's also one new type of armor and weapons. First you need to make this bug out of 4 gold and diamond. This bu is called the " Scarab". Next you need to make a portal out of sandstone just like shown below.

After making the portal, put that bug into the middle of the portal. Then you travel to Atum. Atum is described to be a dry climate with new mobs. It is like a desert. But the mobs to warn you about is that one of them rob you so that will be hard. Those guys are called Brigands. There are also other mobs like nomads, mummy, angry bone, Wraith, Tomb Guard, and finally the Pharaoh. All of these mobs are hostile. I'm not sure if there are animals are roaming the place of Atum. Just a warning it is a dangerous place. A good addition is there is new armor and weapons. Here's a picture of them below. This the whole set. Basically it is a mixture of diamond and gold.

The Pandoras Box Mod
Hey everyone. Today i will show you the Pandora box mod. This box adds affects to your to cause destruction around your world.

The Pandoras box can be a mystery box. For example the video I will show you would show all the different things like spawn ocelot and dogs. Also change the flooring of all the land to many blocks in the game. For example TNT ,Emerald,Diamond, Glass, and etc. The thing about floating trees is very weird. Sometime it may bring nether blocks too. Here is the video about it.

Lava Monster Mod
          Hey everyone. Here is the lava monster mod. It is obvious you the monster is made of lava. It adds a mob called the lava monster and it adds something called the lava boots which are used for protection from that ferocious mob. Lava monsters can drop good things, but usually their drops are destroyed instantly. This mod can be found in the Nether. Imagine since the monster spawns in lava areas, by the time you know it you'll be chased by so many lava monsters. Here's a picture of the lava monster. But if you look at the picture it looks weak but telling will sound very dangerous

This mob is also dangerous because if it reaches above ground you can see it can make a forest fire if you are near an area of trees. This mob can also shoot fireballs at you so good luck with that. Well that is all it can do. Here is a video of it.

Nether vs Aether

   Have you ever thought which place is more challenging?Everyone knows the dangerous underground place filled with lava,the nether. The Aether is the opposite of the nether.It is located in the sky with new mobs and new types ores. You can also make new items/tools. Nether is a place of lava and mobs like zombiepigmen. The aether also has dungeons. But which is more challenging.

                                          The Aether                                 The Aether is a realm in the sky opposing to the nether underground. The way to get to the aether is to build a nether but out of glowstone. You need to the water in the middle. Once you step inside you'll arrive at the aether. The aether has risk of you falling to death which can be a challenge. The aether contains new mobs like flying cows,moa, and bosses like Sun Spirit. I'll talk about the Aether in depth for the next post. The Aether also has dungeons where you can fight bosses to get to the chest at the end. This is the hard part for the Aether. One more challenging thing is the hostile mobs. People usually visit the aether and don't know how strong the mobs are here is a video of what the Aether looks like.

The nether is a dangerous place like the aether. This place has crazy amount of lava which you'll be dead in seconds. Also mobs like zombiepigmen and ghasts can be after you in minutes. Those are the only hazards not that many mobs. But still it is ferocious in there. So be careful.

John Mod

      Hey everyone. Today is another mod showcase. Today I'm doing the John mod. The John mod adds this creepy mob into your game. He could do a crazy amount of damage. He drops immortality gems depending on which one. When you get the mod downloaded there are three types of Johns. First is baby John,next regular John, and finally mega John.You,ll get egg spawners when download it. Baby and regular john can survive in daytime and night while mega catches on fire when daytime. Here are pictures of baby,regular, and mega john. Also baby johns spawn at 10 at the same time.

Johns have so much health and may take a long time to kill depending on which John and what are you trying to kill it with. Baby and regular both drop immortality. But mega drops the immortality sword. Or just craft it with 2 immortality gems and one stick. Here's a video about the mod.

Endermen vs Ghast - WHO WOULD WIN?

                          Endermen vs Ghast 

 Have you ever thought who would win like mob vs mob. Today I will tell you about the fight between the Enderman vs Ghast. Both are outstanding mobs with great techniques when chasing Steve( Main Character). But whose better? I'm going to tell you some facts about the mob and who has the advantage and disadvantage.

                           

                                       The Endermen

Endermen are very annoying mobs. These mobs are tall and have long arms which are used to take Steve's items away. And Endermen can also teleport away to another location. They also attack you if you look into their eyes. They will keep on following you until you kill them. Endermen have an advantage of quickness because it teleports quickly. It is hard to hit it. Compared to a Ghast.A Ghast is so slow. I'll explain everything about the Ghast in the next paragraph. Endermen can have a way of getting on your nerves, but sometimes an Enderman can be dumb at one point because sometime it can teleport themselves into lava which is stupid so that is one disadvantage. Enderman are weak to water or rain and fire. That could be a problem. Well that was the Enderman. 

                                          The Ghast

A Ghast is another type of mob that only appear in the Nether. You can spawn in the Minecraft world with an egg spawner but only appears in the Nether. Ghasts are giant beasts that fly in the air. Flying can be a huge advantage. Also a Ghast can shoot fireballs that explode when it touches the ground. But one disadvantage is that this mob only has 10 health points while Enderman has 40. Ghasts are described as jelly like mobs that are 4 blocks wide and 4 blocks long with 9 tentacle limbs. The bad thing is that a Ghast are very slow flyers. You can also deflect Ghast fireballs that can kill it in one shot. The fireball explosion is one of the most powerful attacks third to a creeper. Also it has a good aim unless your quick enough.

                        Advantage and Disadvantage
Here is a chart on the advantages and disadvantage of the Enderman and Ghast.

•  And can steal blocks to build something.

•  Weak attacks
•  Doesn't attack when he doesn't look at you.
•  Weak to water,rain,lava, and fire.
•  Sometimes dumb when they teleport themselves into lava.

                         Ghasts Disadvantages

•  10 health points
•  You can deflect its fireball to kill in one shot
•  Flys slowly

I put up a poll to see what my readers would think about who would  win. For my own opinion I think a Ghasts would win because an Enderman can't deflect the Ghast's fireball and the Ghasts are third to the creeper's explosion. And Enderman are weak to fire.So that makes the Ghast.     

The Marvelous Moon Mod                                                                                                                                                                                                       Hey every. Today I'm talking about the Marvelous Moon mod. This gives you the ability to go the moon which is so AWESOME!!! I'll give you the crafting recipes for making a Spacesuit. Also how to build a spaceship. I'm not sure how much but the materials are a lot of iron blocks,golden blocks,glass, and finally a navigation system. You need eight glasses and one leather helmet in the middle to make a space helmet. For space suit armor you need leather armor, 4 blocks,and 4 iron ingots. Same with leg armor and boots but just put the boots and leg armor in the center.Here's a picture of the earth from the moon.








When you reach the moon you'll see that it is very dark there so I hope you are prepared. There are also mobs that are on the moon like zombies with air tanks, spiders with air tanks and also creepers. Moon is the best source for mining moon stone. When you put this in the furnace it will turn into iron ingot. I saw that you can jump higher than usual because there is 18% of gravity. Well that's all for now. I found these cool gifs on google. The Spiderman Mod
         Hey everyone. Today I'll be showing you the spiderman mod.In the game you can be spiderman. I will tell you the crafting recipes on how to make his armor. Also the effects when wearing this armor. First of all you need to have cobwebs. The people say you can get it from an enchanted pick axe. You need two rose reds and two ink sacs and one radioactive spider in the center shown below. 

 This is what you need to get spider man silk

To get a radioactive spider you have to find a cave spider but they are very rare. You'll find only regular cave spiders. You have to find a spider that has glowing green eyes and has blue spots around the spider's body. To make the spiderman mask you need five spiderman silk. For body armor you need eight spiderman silk. For pants you need seven spiderman silk and finally four for the boots. When you wear this you jump twice as high than normal. You run more faster and you climb up walls.The amazing thing is you can trap enemies with your explosive spiderwebs. One more thing is when you eat a radioactive spider it will make run even faster. I'll show how it looks like in the video.

  

 WITHER!!!!

     Hey everyone. Today I'm here to talk to you about a new boss. All of you must have heard about the enderdragon. Now there is this skeleton like creature called Wither. He is a boss with  large  amount of health. Just to warn you he is HE is so strong. His physical description is a mob that floats. No legs, has a skeleton like body, the color black, and finally has three heads. The other two heads he uses as bombs. And his two bomb heads regenerate. Also he is very quick in making his moves. I would rather to have strong weapons like the diamond sword and the best armor which is diamond armor. Also another weapon which is good for beating him is an enchanted bow and arrow. The Wither boss has 300 health points. Once you kill  it, you'll get 50 experience points and it will drop the nether star. 

There also his minions. There is something called a wither skeleton. A wither skeleton is a new type of mob that is related to the Wither boss. Wither skeletons are tough. They holding a  stone sword and they're not afraid to use it. The wither skeleton is only found in the nether fortress like where the Wither boss. It has 20 health points. These guys drop coal or bones. Some rare items they drop are stone swords. Here is a wither skeleton right next to this paragraph. Now here is a video the see how aggressive it fights.

The Shape-shifter mod 

         Hey everyone. Here I'm about to share with you the shape-shifter mod. This mod basically is about you shape-shifting into any mob, for example, you can turn into a cow. You can also turn into hostile mobs like creepers. Also you have their abilities. You know how creepers explode when threatened. When you transform into a creeper and explode, you obviously you die. Some are interesting because you can turn into a chicken and you can fly. Especially if you were endermen you can teleport to another location. Now, isn't that interesting? You can even turn into creatures from the nether like ghasts. The cool thing is that they breathe fire which is interesting.

There are many cool things about this mod. You can turn into the enderdragon too( the boss of the game) Here is a list of all the mobs you can turn into, and that dragon is the enderdragon.

The New Years Mod
     Hey everyone. This is the new years mod. This mod is about celebrating new year by adding fireworks to the game. This is very interesting. Wait and see the the video I'm going to put up. Basically it is called the fireworks mod, people relate to the new year to celebrate. This mod adds a fireworks-launcher-block to the game. Trigger it by redstone or rightclicking. It will pick a random skyrocket from the folder mod/Fireworks/Skyrockets and launch it up in the air! The picture on the right is the crafting recipe of the fireworks. And below is picture showing the firework in action

 But try these at night. It works better that way. It bursts into a million colors which is so cool. Also some are throw able. This mod could be great for the new year OR 4th of July. To my opinion, I prefer the throw able ones. Just saying. Here is a cool video to watch. This video was made last new year so don't get me wrong.

The Christmas mod.

    Hey everyone. I'm here to talk to you about the Christmas mod. If you download this mod everything would have a Christmas background like for example a creeper would have a candy cane color instead of green. It is also cool because it is also snowing. Also there is some candy canes added to the game. Only the creeper will look different. It is known as the candy creeper. There is also another one called the enderelf. It is a endermen with an elf costume 

Also there are many Christmas decorations like little mini Christmas trees instead of the flowers. Also like I told you there is an unusually more snow than usual but overall it is still a cool mod. There is not that much adding to the game. It was just snow and decorations. Well that is all for now. Here is a video to enjoy.

   


 

The More Zombies Mod

         Hey everybody. Today I'm taking about the more zombies mod. This basically adds more different types of zombies to the game. Like in the last to last post, you saw a normal zombie. Dark green, tattered clothes. There's a zombie that runs fast. A fat zombie that does a lot of damage, A zombie holding a sword. A zombie pigmen with a bow. The last one is a zombie whose a skeleton and it poisons you. When you add this to the game, it will give you a hard time. Trust me. The good thing is that the zombies only come at night.

 Also these types of zombies are very tough and have added health. There's is this other zombie that I'm not sure why it is a zombie. Check the picture below

SEE!!!Isn't that weird. I don't know why this is consider a zombie. This is also my least favorite mod because any time any where any place, a zombie may sneak up behind you and kill you. Okay, that's it for now. Here is a video.BYE!!! 

 Types of Mobs( monsters)

               In the world of Minecraft there are many different types of monsters or mobs. Like in the last post, you saw only 2 types of mobs, creepers and zombies. Here's a list: endermen,ghasts, skeletons, zombiepigmen, and spiders. In future posts, I will explain each in great detail. All the mobs are very annoying, especially endermen. If you look into their eyes, they take all your blocks away. The worse thing is that they teleport, so it will be.All mobs have different ways to annoy you, so better watch out! 

 

There are also other mobs that are passive. This means it will not attack the player. This includes pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, and squid. You can even tame mobs. But you can only tame two mobs. A dog or cat. Some are neutral which means they don't attack if you threatened the mob. Anyway, BYE.Here's a video to enjoy.

 

          

What is Minecraft?

             It is a popular game that is using your creativity. It is basically a game of building and surviving. It was created by Swedish programmer Markus Notch Persson and later developed and published by Mojang. Minecraft is an open world game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. But there are somethings like survival mode where the goal is to survive by not getting killed by zombies, creepers or any other monster. These are the pictures of zombies and creepers.(creeper,left zombie right).

This isn't the only thing. There are other types of modes. You can play with friends which is multiplayer, adventure, and creative. Also there are things called mods which is things you download to get more stuff added to the game. I'm going to talk about different kinds of mods in the  coming posts.

Breaking NEWS!!!

   Galaxy Tab 3
Hey everyone. This the new samsung tablet is going to be revealed in 2013. There are many rumors on this tablet. We are not sure if it will come out. According to the rumors, it is a 7 inch tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.   Although as confirmed Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 specs have yet to be revealed, it is expected that a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 release date will be officially unveiled next month.Rumoured to arrive with 2GB of RAM, 1.3-megapixel front camera and 5-megapixels in the rear, and a 1.6HGz quad-core processor, the 8-inch tablet should also have a 1280 X 800p resolution.

                 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will sport a 7 or 8 inches screen. The screen resolution is expected to be 1024 x 600 pixels. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1” is being introduced with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800.    According to leaked information, upcoming phones list of Samsung include Galaxy Pocket Plus and Galaxy X Cover2, Galaxy Chat 226 and Galaxy Young.has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, this is the same screen resolution of Nexus 10.
