The competition: The Kindle Fire HD is competing with the iPad and the Nexus 7. In my opinion, I would go for the Kindle Fire HD because it is cheap. The iPad mini is very expensive. The price for that device is $329 for the 16GB version. If it is 32GB then it is $429. The 64GB is $529. The Kindle Fire is just $199 for 16GB and the 32GB is $249.
