Thanksgiving Special-Floats
 Hey everyone. Today is my Thanksgiving special. Today I am talking about the behind the scenes of the parade floats. The workers work year round  to make these floats for Thanksgiving.In the Thanksgiving Parade, the technicians first build a statue of the figure that they are including in the parade. Suppose they are making a Garfield the cat float. First they would build a statue, then copy it on a balloon. Now people are calling it a tradition because, for the past 80 years people have been celebrating the parade. This is year it is the best because of 2 and a 1/2 miles of a marching band. After making a clay version, they will make a plastic version.

After making the plastic version they try to copy the design on fabric. They try to attach the balloon together. Then they start to paint the balloon. Once the painting is complete they fill the balloon with air to make sure if there are no leaks. If there is then they have to repair it. If it is inflated for 6 hours then their is no problem. When the day comes they launch the inflated balloons and taken to the finish line. So thats how the parade works. here is a video for you to enjoy.

The Blackberry 10
The Features:We're all counting down the days until Blackberry 10 is in our hands. The new phone will be released on January 30 2013. They say that the blackberry company is trying to bring competition with other companies like Apple and Google. Some features are the Blackberry keyboard. The keyboard learns how you write and adapts to how you type so you can write faster and more accurately, giving you the kind of legendary typing experience.  Blackberry10's camera app has a cool new feature called Time Shift that captures multiple shots of a given subject, then lets you quickly scroll through them on a radial menu to pick the perfect picture can deliver.

Other cool apps: Here are some other apps that I did not mention.Music Timer X is designed to help users setting the time for stopping the music automatically before going to bed. You also can use it as your daily Audio Media Player on BB10 devices to listen to your favorite songs.Photo X is a Photo Viewer/Editor for BlackBerry 10. With Photo X user can browse for photos on BB10 device and use fingers to pinch to zoom, rotate the photo, edit photo and share to Twitter account with ease. And the last app is the Flash Light X.This Flash Light utility turns your device into a Torch in the dark using the Flash Light next to the Rear Camera on your device. The Kindle Fire HD
Features on the Kindle Fire HD: Have you heard of the new Kindle Fire that released on the 15th of November? The Kindle Fire price is $299. It is still a very cheap tablet.Those who       were waiting for the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD won’t be   disappointed. The device features a 1920×1200 resolution display powered by a TI OMAP 4470 processor. Games built with this processor in mind should look spectacular on its display. The battery life is also no slouch as it offers 10 hours of continuous play. Web customers are going to love the Kindle Fire HD because the screen is so bright. It is good for web, email, reading magzine, gaming, and watching your favorite shows.

The competition: The Kindle Fire HD is competing with the iPad and the Nexus 7. In my opinion, I would go for the Kindle Fire HD because it is cheap. The iPad mini is very expensive. The price for that device is $329 for the 16GB version. If it is 32GB then it is $429. The 64GB is $529. The Kindle Fire is just $199 for 16GB and the 32GB is $249. Psp is a very popular console.When the Play Station 3 was released five years ago, it was sold out in almost every store, and as of June 31, 2011 there were more than 51 million units sold.Isn't that amazing.                                                                                     The competition:The "Sony" company is certainly competing with Microsoft.  The competition gets tougher and intense in the video game market, and Sony is preparing itself for the release of PlayStation 4 or PS4. People are waiting for this new console. The Xbox 720
 Information about the new console: This is the new generation of the Xbox. They said  the console will come out during Christmas 2013. They say that the new console is going to come packing with a 1080p 3D support. People say the price would be around $299.Many rumours suggest that the second version of Kinect will sit at the heart of the Xbox 720 experience. A console built around motion detection has lots of promise and it seems highly likely that this is the direction Microsoft is taking, given the way it's currently pushing Kinect hardware and software.However, you can be sure that the trusty control pad will remain a core component for hardcore gaming. The 360 control pad is wildly popular amongst both console and PC gamers so we can't see the design changing too radically, either.

  Xbox 720 storage and disc format:It now seems highly likely that the new Xbox will arrive packing a Blu-ray drive.Microsoft was, if you remember, a staunch member of the HD DVD Promotion Group and went so far as to launch an external HD DVD drive for the 360. So it represents a bit turn-around for Microsoft to embrace Blu-ray, but it also makes perfect sense.Read speeds from DVDs are still faster than from Blu-ray discs, but BDs can hold vastly more data. A standard dual-layer BD can contain 50GB of data compared to the Xbox 360's dual-layer DVDs which contain between 8 and 9GB. A Pennsylvania Ghost Story

Susan and Ned were driving through a wooded empty section of highway. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, the sky went dark in the torrential downpour.
“We’d better stop,” said Susan.
Ned nodded his head in agreement. He stepped on the brake, and suddenly the car started to slide on the slick pavement. They plunged off the road and slid to a halt at the bottom of an incline.
Pale and shaking, Ned quickly turned to check if Susan was all right. When she nodded, Ned relaxed and looked through the rain soaked windows.
“I’m going to see how bad it is,” he told Susan, and when out into the storm. She saw his blurry figure in the headlight, walking around the front of the car. A moment later, he jumped in beside her, soaking wet.
“The car’s not badly damaged, but we’re wheel-deep in mud,” he said. “I’m going to have to go for help.”
Susan swallowed nervously. There would be no quick rescue here. He told her to turn off the headlights and lock the doors until he returned.
Axe Murder Hollow. Although Ned hadn’t said the name aloud, they both knew what he had been thinking when he told her to lock the car. This was the place where a man had once taken an axe and hacked his wife to death in a jealous rage over an alleged affair. Supposedly, the axe-wielding spirit of the husband continued to haunt this section of the road.
Outside the car, Susan heard a shriek, a loud thump, and a strange gurgling noise. But she couldn’t see anything in the darkness.
Frightened, she shrank down into her seat. She sat in silence for a while, and then she noticed another sound. Bump. Bump. Bump. It was a soft sound, like something being blown by the wind.
Suddenly, the car was illuminated by a bright light. An official sounding voice told her to get out of the car. Ned must have found a police officer. Susan unlocked the door and stepped out of the car. As her eyes adjusted to the bright light, she saw it.
Hanging by his feet from the tree next to the car was the dead body of Ned. His bloody throat had been cut so deeply that he was nearly decapitated. The wind swung his corpse back and forth so that it thumped against the tree. Bump. Bump. Bump.
Susan screamed and ran toward the voice and the light. As she drew close, she realized the light was not coming from a flashlight. Standing there was the glowing figure of a man with a smile on his face and a large, solid, and definitely real axe in his hands. She backed away from the glowing figure until she bumped into the car.
“Playing around when my back was turned,” the ghost whispered, stroking the sharp blade of the axe with his fingers. “You’ve been very naughty.”
The last thing she saw was the glint of the axe blade in the eerie, incandescent light.

   Cool facts about the console: The brand new wii u is going to come out next month. They refer this sequel to the wii as a gaming pad. There are 2 versions for the wii u. One is deluxe and the other is normal. The surprising thing is that the deluxe cost $349.99 and the normal is $299.99. It is because the GB is different.Deluxe is 32 GB and normal is only 8 GB. It basically looks like an iPad. You can access television on there. They made an app on there which is called TVii. You get watch movies, shows, anything you like. You can even browse on the web if you like. Just like the 3DS the wii u has an analog controller too. Isn't that amazing! They are also going to add hardcore kind of games for adults too. Also they added something to the wii called the miiverse.

  The game New Super Mario bros U:The new game New Super Mario Bros U is going to come out next month. This is the new sequel to the Mario series. The new thing about this game is that they don't have those boring old power-ups like the super mushroom. This time they have a new power-up like an acorn to turn you into a gliding squirrel.It kinda looks like a pre made version of the Tanooki suit. THE 3DS
 How 3D was transformed into entertainment:Have you wondered how the 3D feature works on the 3ds? The answer is that the device perceives different images to the eyes to make it appear in 3D. There is a 3D depth slider where you can slide the slider to make it in 3D. If you have the 3ds xl  they give you the best 3D images. The best thing is that there is an icon that you can take photos in 3D. You can even watch videos or animations in 3D. The new thing about the 3ds is that they installed an analog control. Instead of using the classic buttons they brought up a new feature. One last feature is the game chips. For the 3ds there is a new game chip which is suitable for only 3ds. Also the best thing is that you can play regular DS games on the 3ds.

Things you'll find in the package: The things that you find in a 3ds package is a charger. The information about safety. Also don't forget about the 3ds. Are there any Mario fans out there? Apple claims that it is twice as fast as the A5. Apple included a new kind of connector which is smaller and faster.
